A Vortech Supercharger system can adds extra horsepower to your engine. These are specially designed for Mustangs ranging from 1979 till present. They are also used in other high performance cars. It will make your car more powerful.
The only kits I have seen were for the 4.3L S10. The never made a complete system for the Full Size 4.3L. Basically Vortech and PowerDyne both made the system, but Vortech discontinued the system and PowerDyne went out of business.
Wynjammer is about the only company that makes a supercharger for the chevy 4.3L. It's a belt driven turbo style supercharger like a Vortech instead of a roots type supercharger like an Eaton or Whipple.
Yes- Whipple, magnuson, magna, vortech, pro charger, edelbrock all make a supercharger kit for the ls7.

Your best bet is to contact Vortech directly at 805-247-0226. They pretty much are the only people that can fix their own superchargers.
On a centrifugal supercharger(Paxton, vortech, procharger-yes. On a whipple /eaton- no because they are located between the throttle body and engine, BOV only work when the throttle body is between the supercharger and engine.
There are many companies online that sell supercharges. You can buy a supercharger from companies such as Vortech Superchargers, SuperChargers Online, and streetracingshop.com. You can also go to Nextag.com to compare prices and see which companies offer superchargers.
ive done my own research for personal gain. reinheart makes a supercharger Specifically for the MM, its the Vortech V2 supercharger. also a 60$ performance chip, you could put a set of smaller wheels/rims/tires on. performance exhausts the whole shabang.
I own an 87 Cobra GT with a 306, E303 cam, GT40 heads and intake, 24lbs injectors, much, much more and a Vortech Supercharger.....at idle, fuel pressure is at 42 lbs.
This all depends on what type of supercharger it is. If you have an Eaton supercharger it is possible that it might be a pressed on pulley. If this is the case then you will need a pulley puller. If the supercharger is a Vortech, Paxton, or ProCharger they all use key ways. So all you need to do is take the bolt off and the pulley might come off. Some times the pulley will not slide off so a pulley puller will work. Or you can heat up the shaft which will cause the pulley to expand and it will then slide right off. DO NOT use a screw driver or any force to pry it off. This can cause damage to the bearings.
