Has good low end throttle response and midrange is ok, will not fit performer or holley carbs, not for racing, great for 305.
remove the intake on the top of the engine. they are under it. There will be 6. for a L6 engine and 8 for V8
There are 2 of them on that engine, Both of them are underneith the INTAKE MANIFOLD You will have to remove the intake to service them and to even be able to see them.
Assuming V8 gasoline engine, it should be bolted onto the intake manifold.
There are two knock sensors on a 2004 2500HD V8 6.0 Chevy Silverado. Both of the sensors are mounted under the intake manifold on the engine.
That engine has 2 of them and there both underneith the intake manifold. You can't see are even get to them until you remove the intake.

The exhaust lifters will line up with the exhaust manifolds,Remove the valve cover if your working on a V8 and the valve that lines up with the exhaust port will be the exhaust valve,If it is a Chevy V8 they will be from standing in front of the car exhaust,intake,intake,exhaust,exhaust,intake,intake,exhaust.
Standing in the front of the engine, It will be on the top back right side of the engine block. Just behind the intake manifold.

No they are not, they are from the lexus V8 engine.
you should be able to get the order off the intake manifold.if you have aftermarket intake on ,get a haynes or browse a junk yard.
The intake manifold gaskets have failed on many of the V6 and V8 Chevy and GMC trucks in our fleet. The replacement gaskets are a better design that the original.
