Just bought new rods with 2.10" journals
The rod torque on a Chevy 350 V8 depends on which size rod bolt you have. On the 3/8 rod bolt the torque is 45 ft/lbs On the 11/32 rod bolt the torque is 35 ft/lbs
The journal size for a 350 Chevy block, specifically the small-block Chevy engine, typically measures 2.45 inches in diameter for the main journals and 2.10 inches for the rod journals. These dimensions are standard for most 350 cubic inch small-block engines produced by Chevrolet. It's important to ensure proper measurements if you're rebuilding or modifying an engine to maintain compatibility with components.
5.7"
5.7"
The rod should be 5.75 inches; assuming the correct year, size, and stock cam, fuel pump, etc.
small journal cranks can be ground to a minimum of 1.9585 (rod journals) big journal cranks 2.0685 ( rod journals)
.002" is what I have on a fresh rebuild.
Yes.
Chevy did not make a 350 in 2001. The last 350 was built in 1999.
Depends on the rod bolts, but usually 45-50 ft./lbs.
.003-.005
If by "6 rod", you are asking if changing the rod length changes the size of the engine, it doesn't.
