I am not exactly sure of what you are asking, from the wording you are using. In any event as you posted under Cars & Vehicles, I believe you are asking something about and IAC or IAC trouble Code in your vehicle.
The IAC is an electronically controlled sensor wired into your vehicles main computer, and that controls the amount of air allowed to feed into the throttle body to control the exact Air/Fuel mixture for your vehicle to run at it's best. They are bolted into the side of the throttle body.
They can wear out, burn out, become gummed up by deposits, or clogged by carbon deposits. This will cause the vehicle to run strange, or get poor mileage, or even not run at all, all of which can/should set of a trouble light in your instrument cluster.
