Newer cars don't need 'tune ups' since they did away with distributors in the 2000's and carburetors in the late 80's and went to Single Port then later multi Port Fuel Throttle body fuel injection, and coil packs instead of distributors. In the 'old days' it meant spark plugs, breaker points, condensor, and timing the distributor, and setting/adjusting the fuel/air mix on the carbueretor These days there is nothing to change but long life spark plugs that last up to 100,000 miles. The ECU aka PCM controls everything and is not adjustable. There are long intervals between changing 02 sensors, about the only part that wears out
