The most common cycles are the 2 stroke and 4 stroke. One cycle means the pistion inside of the cylinder will move fron one end to the other 2 times in a 2 stroke engine and 4 times in a 4 stroke engine. 2 cycle
1. intake and compression - air/fuel is drawn in and compressed by the pistion moving to the top of the cylinder
2. combustion and exaust - compressed air/fuel is ignited and gases expelled as pistion moves to the bottom of the cylinder 4 cycle (spark ignition engine)
1. intake - exaust valve(s) are closed then the intake valve(s) open and air/fuel is drawn in as piston moves to bottom of the cylinder
2. compression - intake valve(s) close and air/fuel is compressed as piston moves to the top of the cylinder
3. combustion - spark plug ignites the mixture and piston moves to the bottom of the cylinder
4. exaust - exaust valve(s) open and gases are forced out as piston moves to the top of the cylinder There is a lot more to this but I hope I pointed you in the right direction.
Not cycle.......cylinder, all were four cylinder. ^^^^ Yupp yupp! The L-series moved on to 6 cylinder engines
the cycle the engine moves
No its a CYLINDER which is ROUND that means NO EDGES
Two cycle (two Stroke) engines generally have one spark plug per cylinder. So a four cylinder, 2 cycle engine will have 4 spark plugs.
90 degress
No. It should be just past top.
The Hemi with MDS, which is most of them, does cycle down to a four cylinder at cruising speed.
Act or process of expelling the exhaust gases from the cylinder by some special means, as, in many four-cycle engines, by utilizing the momentum of the exhaust gases in a long exhaust pipe.
For a full cylinder it can be as quick as one second
You can use a graduated cylinder to demonstrate the water cycle by filling it with water and sealing it with a stopper. Place the cylinder in sunlight, which will heat the water, causing evaporation. As the water vapor rises and cools against the sides of the cylinder, it will condense and form droplets, simulating precipitation. This simple setup visually illustrates the processes of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation in the water cycle.
cycle means it cycles between sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks. cycle means it cycles between sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks. -Mrs.Zalenski
There would be two valves per cylinder ! The data is in your question.
