The H9 axle refers to a specific type of axle used in various vehicle applications, particularly in heavy-duty trucks and trailers. It is known for its robust construction and high load capacity, making it suitable for demanding conditions. The H9 designation may indicate specific dimensions or design features that enhance durability and performance in commercial vehicles. This axle type is often used in conjunction with other components to optimize vehicle stability and handling.
On a 2004 Ford F-150 : ( H9 is a 3.55 limited slip / Ford Traction Lok )
A limited slip differential with 3.55 gearing , Ford , 3800 pound capacity
The Axel code is on the drivers side door [On the post] it is stated on the sticker either a H9 which is a 3:55 ratio or an I9
I believe " H9 " is a ( 3.55 limited slip , Ford Traction Lok )
According to ISO R286 The tolerance for a 16mm H9 hole is: 16mm +0.000mm 16mm +0.043mm
For a 2001 F150, you can check the axle codes on your door sticker. The axle code to rear axle ratio values are as follows: 17 for 3.31 open differential, 19 for 3.55 open differential, H6 for 3.73 limited slip, H7 for 3.31 limited slip, and H9 for 3.55 limited slip.
It could have a limited slip axle Check for a sticker on the end of the drivers door showing the axle code I was looking in the 1996 F-150 owners manual and it shows : ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Limited slip axle - 3800 pound capacity ( codes ) H4 - 3.54 / H5 - 4.10 / H7 - 3.31 / H8 - 3.08 / H9 - 3.55 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Conventional axle - 3800 pound capacity ( codes ) 12 - 2.73 / 17 - 3.31 / 18 - 3.08 / 19 - 3.55

I was looking at the 1999 Ford F-150 owners manual and with the 5.4 liter V8 engine ( according to the trailer towing table ) there were ( 3 ) gear ratios ( 3.08 / 3.55 / and 3.73 ) I believe if you open the driver's door you will see an information sticker on the end of the door or the latch pillar that will show the axle code . The axle code will let you determine the gear ratio ( unfortunately they don't seem to have that in the owner's manual ) so I did a Google search of Ford axle codes. I BELIEVE : axle code ( 18 ) is a 3.08 conventional ( non limited slip ) axle code ( 19 ) is a 3.55 conventional and H9 is a 3.55 limited slip axle code ( B6 ) is a 3.73 limited slip
No, you cannot. Ipods do not have bluetooth functionality built into them.
