In cold Weather though it drops to around 15,at 2000 RPM, as you increase RPM you also increase fuel consumption. And if your running a 4 barrel, you can take another 5 MPG out of the equation.
Mine is a 2 barrel 351M, 4 speed man. with 5.5 gears in the axle's.
The down fall to this is 2000RPM= 58MPH, with 5.5 gears.
