its approximate but my freight train has 32 x 16tonne coal trucks to pull on a morning. I need to travel 19 miles with them and the tank is filled up before i leave the station. The gauge shows just under a 1/4 of a tank left when i get to davenport station to drop of. So in summary 19 miles uses 3/4 of a tank. Oh and my tank takes 4300gallons
