It will be 76-80... But the best way to figure out the exact date is, check the opposite side of the motor from where you found casting number. Little more toward the front. There will be another casting number but shorter. It's the date and year made. And some have this clock dial that will show you the shift it was made on even...
it may have a used engine from a 95 truck put in it. Or, it could be a late 1994, and Toyota was installing 1995 starters on the last of the production run for that year.

It's next to impossible to tell if the engine is the original one for a classic mustang..Mustangs built before 1968 do not have the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) stamped into the engine block. The one exception is that all "K Code" Mustangs with the 298 High Performance (Hi-Po) package had the Vehicle ID stamped into the block as a theft deterant..However, things like later model date coded parts on an early mustang are a good sign of major repairs or of a possibly changed engine. If one sees "C7" coded parts (1967) on a 1964 1/2 vehicle it's not safe to assume the engine is "original"MoreYou can also check some of the cast items on the car for their casting date. You can compare the casting date to the build date of the car (on the warrentte plate). If your engine block or heads are the correct year, but were cast after the build date of the car you are fairly sure it is not original.

That's a 360 no but they were used with that same no (I think) for 20 years. You should check VIN and get build date for chassis, usually engine is within 12 mos prior to chassis and you want to make sure engine is original, Make sure also head nos match engine block.
1975 - 1982 Was The Build Date Of The HST
They date back to the mesopotamians
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I was looking at one of Fords websites and it shows for a 2008 Ford F-350 : If you have the 5R110W automatic transmission and the vehicle build date is BEFORE ( 5 / 20 / 2007 ) it takes the ( FT-144 automatic transmission filter ) * so considering the build date that is shown it seems unlikely that it would be used in a 2008 model year
