Yellow, and it's called the constant
gound it put the wire in the ground of the car sterio
red wire= main power/postive yellow wire=main power/memory black wire=ground wire/negative
yellow
There are 3, one is yellow (constant 12v+ for the memory) red (+) and black (-) if you have a motorized antenna, that one is most likely blue.
It is for the dial light or the statiod memory
im not sure, but you can tell by getting a wire tester at any hardware store, it looks like a screwdriver but has a light where the handle usually would be, touch it to all the exposed parts of each wire, when it lights up, you've found your memory wire, if you put the car on do it again the other wire that lights up is your ignition power wire, , oh yeah if you cant find the memory wire at all, which has happened to me before; see if u can just wire the memory wire up tothe constant cigarette lighter wire, its usually easy, and works.Answeroh yeah, try installdr.com and see if they have it listed
sounds like the memory wire and acc wire are backwards
red
green
If your refering to your sterio locking, then hope that it is the original sterio that came with the car. In my case my battery died in my car twice and locked my sterio....I took it into a dealer that specialized in my type of car, and they have to run tests through the computer in the vehicle, to find the code. There are alot of possibilities as well! Unfortunatly for me my sterio wasnt the original that came with the vehicle. So the gentlmen told me it would take days and lots of money to figure out which code unlocks my sterio. Because they can only try so many in a certain time frame.
Positive Wires are usually red.
hi,if you look at your new sterio there is a red live wire, and a yellow wire , swop the connections over and your system will work,i know as ive just put one in my wifes corsa
