  3. Continue WEST on the GRAND CENTRAL PARKWAY to I-278 EAST to TRIBORO BRIDGE.
  4. Take I-278 EAST to I-87 MAJ. DEEGAN EXPWY - NORTH to ALBANY off EXIT 47, which is the first exit past the Triboro Bridge.
  5. Take I-87 NORTH, out of New York City, where I-87 becomes the New York State THRUWAY (tolls begin past the I-287 split-off).
  6. Continue on the THRUWAY NORTH on I-87, and then WEST on I-90 (beyond ALBANY) to Syracuse.
