Well if it's a barbell, unscrew the ball and remove the jewellery, if it's a captive bead ring, pop the bead out and rotate the jewellery out of the piercing.
If the piercing was done with a captive bead ring ( the ring has a bead on it ) push the bead to one side of the ring , you need to apply a bit of force to get the bead to pop off the ring. Once the bead is out roll the ring out of the piercing. If you are still having issues best visit your local body piercer for assistance.

If the ball is held in place by the ring, then it's called a Captive Bead Ring, this means it's only held by the tension of the ring (captive). So to remove the bead just apply pressure to the side of the bead away from the ring and the bead will pop off. If you can't get the bead to pop out then you will need to visist your piercer and have them use a ring expanding plier to open the ring enough so the bead will drop out. If it's a barbell then the bead unscrews from the barbell, turn to the left to loosen the ball, turn right to tighten the ball. ( righty tighty, lefty loosie )

Inflation of a ballon is what causes it to pop, which scares people
Remove the bead "it is just held in place by the tension of the ring" it should pop out if you apply force from the side of the ring against the bead. If it doesnt come out go see your piercer, they may need to use a ring expanding plier to gently open the ring.
