You must be kidding. A Ford F150 that gets 60 MPG? Not going to happen. Actually there is a F-150 coming out soon that will have a diesel engine, but I don't know the exact mpg it probable isn't near 60 though
There are 2 choices of V8 Triton engines in the Ford F-150. The 4.6L V8 and the 5.4L V8. I'll put some figures below. 4.6L Triton V8 - 16mpg city / 22mpg highway 5.4L Triton V8 - 14mpg city / 20mpg highway Class-Leading Fuel Economy. :D
A 2010 Ford F-150 SuperCab 4X4 gets 14 mpg city and 18 mpg highway. The mpg is consistent on models from the last 5 years.
The smallest Ford Triton engine is the 4.6L 2-valve V8. It provides decent power along with good fuel economy. The EPA fuel economy rating is 16mpg city and 22mpg highway. This engine can be found in the Ford F-150.
According to www . fuel economy . gov ( no spaces ) 12 mpg city / 16 mpg highway per U.S. gallon
You should be getting 10-15 mpg depending how you drive it
Mine seems to get 15/16 mpg in town and about 20 mpg on the highway.
Mine gets about 15 mpg.....get the 6 cylinder unless your towing. I drop 100 bucks a week on gas.
