The oil capacity based off of changing the oil filter along with the oil is 4-5 quarts. Add 4 quarts first then run the engine for a few seconds to build oil pressure. shut the engine off and check the oil level on the dipstick. add if necessary
It's either a 305 or 350 lt1 not a North Star..
The 350 LT1 in the 1993-97 Z28s are considered by some as a "detuned" Corvette engine, but they never matched the Corvette in actual horsepower ratings (not officially, anyway)
All 1993 Pontiac Trans Ams were made with the LT1 engine.

The 1993 Fleetwoods did not come with a LT1 engine. The engine is a L05, 350ci with 185 horsepower with throttle body fuel injection. The LT1 350ci with 260 horsepower was used in the 94, 95, and 96 Fleetwoods.
lt1 is a 350
Yes as long as the intake is not off of an LT1.. The intake in an LT1 350 is for a reverse cooling engine and doesn't have the same coolant passages, as well as not having a hole for the distributor.. LT1 used Opti-spark..
lt1. 350 cubic inches or 5.7 liters
The LS1 and LT1 designations are for the engine not the transmission. A 1993 Camaro Z28 would have originally been fitted with an LT1 engine. Available transmissions behind the LT1 would have been the Borg Warner T-56 (manual), or the 4L60E (automatic).
To determine if your 1993 Buick Roadmaster has an LT1 motor, check the engine block for a VIN stamp or identification tag; the LT1 typically has a "LT1" designation. Additionally, the LT1 engine features a unique design with a distributor located at the rear of the engine and an aluminum intake manifold. You can also look for a serpentine belt system and a single throttle body, which are characteristic of the LT1. If you have access to the owner's manual or service records, they may also specify the engine type.
