When my vehicle was hit by an unisured driver, my insurance company sued him for the damages done to my vehicle that they had to cover. I also have a lawsuit against him for my deductable and for property loss. The guy now has a lien on his house and I get 21% of his income check. Moral of the story, you are better off with even the minimum coverage to be legal, than to loose your house. I must admit, it was quite a burdon to me at first, but the extra check every 2 weeks sure helps me forget about it.
You will get a ticket and run the risk of losing your license if you cannot provide proof of insurance on your court date.
I do not know PA laws but here in FL if your license is suspended then it holds true for any vehicle, and not having a valid motorcycle license is going to add to the charges.
Fine around $200
Most insurance companies find out about DUIs and other tickets when they pull your driving record when your policy renews.
Yes, in Pennsylvania, you are required to have insurance for your motorcycle even if you only have a learner's permit. The state mandates that all motorcycles have liability insurance to cover damages in the event of an accident. Additionally, it's important to check with your insurance provider to ensure you have the appropriate coverage for riding with a permit. Driving without insurance can lead to serious legal and financial consequences.
