Where is the vstar 250 oil dip stick?

There isn't one. Only a fill plug and a sight-glass window on the right side of the engine. The round oil sight-glass window is about the size of a nickel and would be near your right heel if you had your foot on the peg. The are marks for max/min oil level next to the window

How do you replace the left rear door glass on 2000 Ford Focus SE and how difficult is it?

The question you ask is too involved for a proper answer. You may want to go to a car parts store, or book store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.I recently replaced the right rear door glass in a 2002 Focus.First of all, I had to remove the door panel by removing the door handle and by removing the torx screws that secured the panel. My Focus has manual windows, so I had to remove the window crank. This is held in place by a clip which is similar to GM vehicles. There is a white plastic pin (about 1/2" in diameter) that has to be removed from the window regulator. This single pin holds the window in place to the regulator. It takes some "playing with" to get the regulator in the proper postition to remove this pin. It removed easlily for me. In addition the outer molding on the outside of the door at the bottom of the window space had to be removed. This just pulls off. In addition the window rubber had to be partially removed from the rear side of the door (towards tail lights) and from the top of the door. Leave rubber hang leaving the rubber attached to the front side of the door. Obviously make sure all broken glass is removed from window track and rubber. We installed new glass by inserting it from the interior side of the door. It was installed at an angle without forcing. It was frustrating and it took some manipulation to acheive the proper angle. Once the proper angle was acheived the window easlily slid into place. At this time the pin was reinstalled through the regulator. I had to find the proper window heighth. My wife had to wiggle the window so the pin would slide properly through. After the pin was securely in place the door rubber was reinstalled with the window in the "down" postition. After this the door panel and molding was reinstalled. If there are any other concerns from you, you can contact Ford or consult with a repair manual or you may email us.

What would it cost to replace broken glass in a 24x20 window with a wood frame?

For a house window, you can check with a local glass company. Sometimes, your home insurance will cover replacement; however for such a small window the cost should not be high. I replaced a window once. Clear out the broken glass and putty. Take measurements of the window (3 for width at top, bottom and mid; 3 for height at left, right and middle) and go to a hardware or glass company and they will cut the piece for you. Buy the putty or plastic strips you need and then replace it. For a large window, it may be well worth paying the window company. For a stove window, you would probably contact the manufacturer of your stove. The type of glass and its replacement are probably specialized tasks. If the window has single pane glass you can remove the glazing putty and glazing points (metal) measure opening left, middle and right for height and top, middle and bottom for width. You can than take the measurements to a glass company and sometimes a hardware store and have a new piece cut. You will then need to purchase some glazing putty and have a putty knife to apply the glazing putty, you should be able to reuse the glazing points (they hold the glass in place). If you have double pane glass the chances are you will have to replace the whole window sash. There is the chance, depending on the age and manufacturer of the window, a glass company may be able to order a replacement double pane glass unit. You should first check with the window manufacturer. If you can't determine the window manufacturer have the glass company look at the window.
