For a 1992 Chevy S10 2.5L engine the firing order is: 1-3-4-2 . The distributor rotates clockwise.
For a 1992 Chevy 4.3 V6, the spark plug wires should be connected to the distributor cap in the following order, starting from the front of the engine: 1-3-5-7 on the driver's side and 2-4-6-8 on the passenger side. The firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6, and the distributor cap terminals should be arranged accordingly, with cylinder 1 at the front of the cap. Ensure that each wire is securely attached and routed away from heat sources.

Sorry, the 1992 B'mers all have computer controlled ignition. There is no distributor. However, there are coils on top of each spark plug that serve the function of providing spark energy (which is what the single distributor used to do).
