The only thing that I've heard of with "wet cooling" in, is a wet cooling tower. A Wet Cooling tower for the closed-circuit cooling of water where the water to be cooled comes into direct contact with the cooling air dissipating heat by evaporation and air heating. The air draught required for cooling can be induced by fans or by the natural effect of the stack of the cooling tower building (natural draught cooling tower).

So I don't know if that answers your question or not, but i hope it helps...

What are some Cooling treatments?

Sponge baths, cold compresses, and cold packs are all wet cooling treatments

Why are cats noses so cold?

It is wet and the water is evaporating, cooling it.

The wet adiabatic rate of cooling is less than the dry rate because?

the wet adiabatic rate of cooling involves condensation of water vapor, releasing latent heat which partially offsets the cooling from expansion. This latent heat addition makes the wet rate slower than the dry rate, where no condensation occurs.

What does wet bulb depression depend on?

Wet bulb depression depends on the humidity level in the air. It is the difference between the dry bulb temperature and the wet bulb temperature, and it indicates the cooling potential of evaporative cooling systems. A higher wet bulb depression indicates that the air is drier and has a greater capacity to absorb moisture.

What does the principle of the wet-bulb and dry-bulb thermometers state?

Evaporation causes cooling.

How does cotton in relation to wet clothing keep you warm?

In Mountaineering and outdoors circles, cotton is known as the 'Death Cloth' because of its cooling effects when wet.

Which event shows the pattern of coordinated stasis?

global cooling 2.8 million years ago resulted in dry grasslands replacing wet forests in parts of Africa.

How do you calculate capacity of cooling tower in terms of tonne?

calculation on mass flow rate, wet bulb temp, approach, range & condition of cooling tower installation.

What is the difference between cooling and chilling?

Chilling is the reduction in temperature of the required solvent below than its wet bulb temperature while the rest is considered as cooling i.e. if we are only reducing the temperature of solvent to an extent such that the final temperature is above its wet bulb temperature than it will be considered as COOLING.

The wet adiabatic rate of cooling is less than dry rate because?

of the release of latent heat

Why does the serpentine belt get wet with oil?

The serpentine belt on a car will get wet with oil if there is a leaking gasket or seal. Oil is blown around by the cooling fan which can cause it to collect on the belt.

If wet bulb temperature is 35 and outlet water temperature from cooling tower is 25 then the cooling tower approach will be effective and what is the solution?

If the wet bulb temperature is 35 and the outlet water temperature from the cooling tower is 25, the approach is effective as the outlet water temperature is 10 degrees lower than the wet bulb temperature. To further improve efficiency, you can optimize the cooling tower's operation by adjusting airflow, water flow rate, and checking for any fouling or scaling in the tower. Regular maintenance and monitoring can also help ensure optimal performance.
