The sensor located behind the AC compressor is typically the refrigerant temperature sensor or the pressure switch. This sensor monitors the temperature or pressure of the refrigerant in the air conditioning system, helping to ensure optimal performance and preventing damage from operating under incorrect conditions. It plays a crucial role in regulating the AC system's functionality and efficiency.
On intake manifold behind ac compressor
On the Daewoo Leganza it is located behind the AC compressor.
It located on the passenger side of the engine just behind the AC compressor. The service manual says you have to discharge and remove the AC compressor, however, i was able to loosen it and it gave me enough room to replace it.
under the ac compressor
If you're talking about a GT, its on the passenger side, front of the engine. You'll need to remove the AC Compressor to get to it, it's a black sensor, with one bolt holding it in place, with 2 wires comming off of it. Its right behind the AC Compressor.
No...That sensor is a pressure sensor.(located next to the condensor) It will not let the compressor run if the pressure is to low or to high,so the compressor wont be damaged. If it is unplugged the compressor wont come on at all.
On the front of the engine, under the intake manifold, behind the ac compressor.
