I have a 01 Buick and the ac temp that comes out of the vents is around 50 deg - at idle and around 45 deg at highway speed - Is this normal a normal temp? or should the ac temps be colder?
The normal average AC air temp put out at the AC vents should be in the range of 40 degrees F. This also depends on the outside air temp.
Because the air selector died.
Most temp blend doors have an electric actuator. The defroster, dash vents and floor vents are usually run by vacuum.
likely thermostat is stuck. The temp blend door actuator has failed.
could be low on coolant

the temp control is not the problem. the air direction switch is most likely to be the problem
NO.
It will depend on the year, make, model and the outside temperature but on an average day of about 80 degrees it will be in the area of between 39 to 47 degrees on a low-medium speed......
Set point is not what causes the condensation . You most likely have a insulation problem . If your vents are swetting you need to ck duct insulation and if you vent boot is not insulated could cause this
The sensors may be off you havento take it in to a machanic.
