"Engine coolant temperature to cold for closed loop operation."
What it really means:The computer is unhappy as the engine coolant sensor is reading below a set temperature, usually between 150 degrees F and 180 F.If you have a 180 Thermostat try putting the correct 195 F (90C) in and trying it.
Other causes:Thermostat is stuck or damaged not making the engine run at correct temp.Temperature sensor is faulty and returning a incorrect reading.
The engine has an air lock or bubble in the cooling system so the sensor reads too cold.
The engine has a leaking head gasket or cracked head causing the same symptom as an air lock.

The 78 APS (Accelerator Position Sensor) fault code in a Mitsubishi Shogun Pinin indicates a problem with the accelerator pedal position sensor, which monitors the accelerator's position and relays this information to the engine control unit (ECU). This code may trigger issues like poor engine performance, increased emissions, or problems with acceleration. It is advisable to inspect the sensor, its wiring, and connections, and possibly replace the sensor if it's faulty to resolve the issue.
