Yes. the best option is to remove the switch part of the ignition from the barrel and determine which part has gone stiff. If it is the barrell, then you can spray a lubricant onto the key and run it in and out a few times and turn it as well until it becomes free. If the swicth part has become stiff then you will need to use an electrical cleaning/lubricant spray as oil based ones will prevent switch from working. For this you may be able to spray into the switch and turn it with a screwdriver, or else you may have to open it up.
