Check the run capacitor, if defective, can cause the fan motor to run hot and stops till cools off, on n off. And the sound is a little different while running, it is hard on the motor.
Sounda like you have a heat pump, more than likely you are low on refigerant
Condenser coil
What kind of heat do you have? Heat Pump? Be glad it runs.
a bad water pump could cause low heat. The heater uses the coolant from the pump to generate heat.
I have a4 ton air handler and a three and a half ton condenser 13 seer goodman heat pump will my seer change
Typically, it is a Condenser or Heat Pump outside and a furnace and cooling coils inside
The key components of a heat pump condensing unit are the compressor, condenser coil, and fan. The compressor pressurizes the refrigerant, the condenser coil releases heat from the refrigerant, and the fan helps dissipate the heat. These components work together to efficiently transfer heat from inside to outside, making the system more energy-efficient.
No it will not. Before it hurts the water pump the engine would over heat big time, and the w/ pump would probley still be good.
Cause you wanna.
water pump
A vacuum pump in a cooling condenser functions to remove air and non-condensable gases from the condenser system, thereby maintaining a vacuum environment. This reduction in pressure enhances the efficiency of the condensation process by lowering the boiling point of the refrigerant, allowing it to condense more effectively. By ensuring that only the refrigerant vapor enters the condenser, the vacuum pump helps optimize heat transfer and improves overall system performance.
The reason why it is called a barometric condenser is because it makes contact and it is a long vertical pipe into which it condensates and cools the liquid flow to accomplish the removal of pressure. It is also stated that when the pump is used the system is called a low level barometric condenser.
