To set the timing on a 1985 Honda ATC-200S, first ensure the engine is at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke. Remove the timing inspection cover and align the timing marks on the flywheel with the mark on the case. If the timing needs adjustment, loosen the ignition timing plate screws and rotate the plate until the marks align properly, then retighten the screws. Always refer to the service manual for specific torque specifications and detailed procedures.
the 350 has a higher top speed but the 250 will have a much quicker launch due to being a two stroke. overall, you can put a big bore kit in the 250 and make it just as fast as the 350.
