there are 3 i think. one on each manifold and one by cat converter
The '97 is OBDII. There are 4 different O2 sensors on the '97 Cadillac. http://www.airbagcrash.com
The 2000 Cadillac DeVille typically has four oxygen (O2) sensors. There are two upstream (pre-catalytic converter) sensors and two downstream (post-catalytic converter) sensors for each of the vehicle's two catalytic converters. These sensors help monitor the exhaust gases to ensure optimal engine performance and emissions control.
The engine will not run properly with out a functioning catalytic converter and working O2 sensors.
there is one before and one after the catalytic converter.
o2 sensors before and after the cat a tune up plugs wires air filter
All O2 sensors are threaded into the exhaust system at various points. Upstream O2 sensors are located before the catalytic converter(s) and downstream O2 sensors are located after the catalytic converter(s).
There are four o2 sensors on a montero sport.
Cadillac DeVillethese o2 sensors are located aft of the cat that is o2 #2 ,o2 #1 is forward of the cat this is the same on all OBDII compliant auto's Fred@towerpower6@bigriver.net
The 1999 has three O2 sensors. One in each of the exhaust pipes coming off of the manifold and a third after the catalytic converter. Not sure if the 96 is the same or not.
There is 2 o2 sensors on 96 integra. 1 is after the headder and the 2nd one is at the end of the cat
On a 1996 Cadillac STS, the O2 (oxygen) sensors are located in the exhaust system. There are typically two sensors: one upstream (pre-catalytic converter) and one downstream (post-catalytic converter) on each bank of the engine. The upstream sensor is usually found near the exhaust manifold, while the downstream sensor is located further along the exhaust pipe, after the catalytic converter.
yes, however the pcm for the '96 expects signals from 2 O2 sensors. unless you replace the computer too, it should not be a problem
