Under the glove box between the firewall and the blower motor
In a 1988 Chevy 2500, the blower motor resistor can be found on the passenger side. It usually is behind the glove box.
Behind the glove compartment on the dash.
Under the hood on top of the HVAC box.
On a 2004 Chevy Express 2500 van, the blower motor resistor is typically located under the dashboard on the passenger side. It is mounted near the blower motor, usually within the HVAC housing. To access it, you may need to remove the lower dash panel and possibly the glove compartment for better visibility.
The blower resistor on a 1995 GMC 2500 truck is typically located under the dashboard, near the passenger side, attached to the HVAC housing. To access it, you may need to remove the glove compartment and possibly some surrounding panels for better visibility. The resistor is a small component with several wire connectors, and it's crucial for controlling the speed of the blower motor. If you're having issues with the blower motor speeds, checking this part is a good place to start.
A bad blower motor may have burned out the blower motor resistor and the high speed relay. I would suggest replacing the motor, resistor and relay.
The blower motor resister block is located in the center of the dash. Remove the complete glovebox and look to the left and you will see it...............
Check at the blower motor itself. Have it turned on and tap the end of the blower motor with a hammer. I did this and found out that the blower motor was going out. The blower motor is on the top passenger side under the hood. Also check the wire connections. Make sure they are seated good. If this includes for the heater then I would say the blower motor is bad.
you have waisted my time, thank you
on the firewall theres a big black box its inside of it
try replacing the blower motor resistor. I had the same problem and that was the fix. Right under the black sheild under the dash on the passenger side. 10 min fix.
It's not hard, it's very easy.
