I am just about to buy one. It's at the front-middle of the engine way down. It's difficult to see, and it's even more difficult to get to. I'd advise you to bring a small child with you who isn't afraid of getting burnt.
can anyone tell me exactly where the oil dipstick is on Renault master i hev just bought one and cant locate it. its a 2005 model i have no manual
It doesn't have a dipstick for the automatic transmission - not since the 2002 model
To top up the gearbox oil on a 2002 Renault Clio automatic, first ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is warm. Locate the transmission dipstick, usually found near the back of the engine bay, and remove it to check the oil level. If the oil is low, use a funnel to add the appropriate automatic transmission fluid (ATF) through the dipstick tube until it reaches the correct level. Always refer to the owner's manual for the specific type of fluid recommended for your model.
Starting with the 2002 model of the Ford Explorer ( 4 door ) there is no automatic transmission fluid level dipstick
Starting with the 2002 model year , the Ford Explorer four door does not have an automatic transmission fluid dipstick
You can't but your dealer can.
In a Renault Megane with an automatic transmission, the gearbox oil is typically added through the transmission dipstick tube or a fill plug located on the transmission casing. To ensure the correct level, it's important to check the oil level with the engine running and the transmission in park or neutral. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific instructions on your model, as the procedure may vary.
If it is an automatic transmission, then it should have a dipstick to check the fluid level. Depending on the make and model, the location of this dipstick will vary. If it is a manual transmission, then the fluid level really can't be checked and it will not have a dipstick.
Starting with the 2002 model year , the Ford Explorer four door does not have an automatic transmission fluid dipstick
The length of a Renault Megane dipstick can vary slightly depending on the specific model and engine type, but it typically measures around 60 to 70 centimeters (approximately 24 to 28 inches). For precise information, it's best to consult the owner's manual or a service guide specific to the model year and engine variant of the vehicle.
You wouldn't want to do that because starting with the 2002 model Ford Explorer ( four door ) there is no automatic transmission fluid dipstick / dipstick tube that would allow you to put in automatic transmission fluid at home
In a Renault Espace, the dipstick is typically located near the engine, usually towards the front or side. To access it, open the hood and look for a yellow or orange handle, which indicates the dipstick's location. Pull it out, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then check the oil level to ensure it's within the recommended range. Always consult your owner’s manual for specific instructions related to your model year.
