Lift engine cover below front passenger seat. Then lift small flap of carpet to the right of the seat on the centre console. There you will find an access panel fitted with a wing nut, remove this and below you will find the dipstick, hooorraaaa ! !
The transmission dipstick on a Nissan Largo is typically located near the back of the engine bay, often on the passenger side. It is usually marked with a yellow or red handle for easy identification. To check the transmission fluid level, ensure the engine is running and the vehicle is in park or neutral before removing the dipstick. For a detailed diagram, it's best to consult the vehicle's service manual or an online resource specific to the Nissan Largo.

The Nissan largo top up point is just to the left of the gear stick. You will have to remove the central console to do this.

In a 1997 Nissan Altima, the transmission dipstick is located next to the motor. The dipstick has a red handle to pull out.
in a plastic tube in the engine that leads to the sump.
If the dipstick has broken off into the tube on a Nissan Altima, you can remove it using pliers. Other people have had luck using industrial strength vacuums and sucking the broken dipstick up.
The tranny dipstick will be of a maroon color an the driver side of the car.
When you tilt back the passenger seat you will see a flap of carpet coming from under the center console. There is a removable cover just above where you see the dipstick... Lift that and there is a small cover (about 8 inch across) and in there you will see the engine oil filler cap
