The orifice tube on a 1997 GMC Savana 2500 cargo van is located in the high-pressure line of the air conditioning system. To access it, you'll typically need to trace the line from the evaporator to the condenser. It's usually found at the firewall near the passenger side, where the line enters the evaporator assembly. Ensure the system is discharged before attempting to replace the orifice tube.
The orifice tube on a 1997 GMC Yukon is located in the A/C system, specifically within the liquid line that connects the condenser to the evaporator. To access it, you typically need to follow the line from the condenser, which is mounted in front of the radiator, towards the firewall where the evaporator is located. The orifice tube on a 1997 Oldsmobile 88 is typically located in the liquid line of the air conditioning system. To find it, trace the line from the condenser to the evaporator; the orifice tube is usually situated near the evaporator inlet. It may require some disassembly to access, as it is often housed within a fitting that connects the two lines. Always ensure the system is properly evacuated before attempting to replace the orifice tube.
In a 1997 GMC Sonoma, the orifice tube is located in the high-pressure line of the air conditioning system. To access it, you'll typically find it near the evaporator inlet, which is located in the engine compartment, just before the evaporator core. It may require some disassembly of components to reach. Always consult a repair manual for detailed guidance specific to your vehicle.
