From the factory: On the passenger side of the motor - down toward the bottom between the distributor and the fan sits the fuel pump. There's a fuel line (usually metal) that goes up and over the valve cover, to the in-line fuel filter and then to the carb. In my opinion, this was really DUMB because the filter sits right above the exhaust manifold - a very HOT manifold. One drop of gas from that filter (if the connections aren't anything but tight) could start an engine fire. Some Jeepers relocate the filter - just follow the fuel line from the gas tank forward... it's usually a cylindrical metal thing in the fuel line somewhere.
The fuel filter is located under the rear of a 2006 Jeep Liberty. The filter is located between the rear tire and the fuel tank.
The fuel filter is located on the drivers side back by the gas tank
The fuel filter on a gas engine Jeep Liberty is inside the fuel tank, part of the pump.
The fuel filter is part of the pump module in the fuel tank.
The fuel filter is part of the pump module in the fuel tank.
The fuel filter is part of the pump module in the fuel tank.
All vehicles have a fuel filter. It is located in the fuel tank.
Inside the fuel tank.
Fuel pump and filter are located at the engine, it is a mecahnical pump the filter should be right on top of the manifold
If memory serves me right the fuel filter is located in the fuel tank and is a non-serviceable part.
It is located inside the fuel tank, combined with the fuel pump.
IT IS LOCATED ON TOP OF THE FUEL PUMP WHICH IS IN THE GAS TANK AND IT COMES AS A FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY/FILTER
