I just had one replaced on my 2001 Aztek. It is inside the fuel tank. This was a costly experience. Fuel pumps are expensive then the labor to drop the fuel tank and replace it is crazy!!
yes
check the fuse to see if it is blown or replace the fuel pump relay under hood
in the gas tank, inside the sending unit.
Remove fuel tank
Yes it does have a sensor, which is located with the fuel pump in the tank. Additional Info: It will cost you about 900$ Canadian to replace the entire fuel pump (the sensor is with the fuel pump).
Not sure what is wrong with your car but if your fuel pump is not working check your fuse for your fuel pump. check your fuel pump relay on your firewall. low or no fuel presser change your filter.
On a 2002 Pontiac Montana, the fuel pump is located at the rear of the fuel tank. To access it, you typically need to remove the tank from the vehicle, as it is not easily accessible from above. Make sure to take necessary safety precautions when working with fuel systems.
you will have to drop the gas tank and remove the sending unit this is were you will find the fule pump
In the tank
your fuel pump is an in tank fuel pump
Depending on your pontiac in my 2002 grand prix it was aroind $250 for the part and bout $500 at a shop.
