the 02 sensors are located in the exhaust system. bank one stands for the same side as the number 1 cylinder. sensor 1 is the first sensor in the bank, (closest to the engine or upstream) Bank 1, Sensor 1 is on the right side of the engine (fire wall side) before the cat.

Bank 2 Sensor 2 PO160 on a 03 Hyundai Santa Fe
located on the exhaust manifold just before the flex pipe.
As far as I know, there are 4 oxygen sensors on a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe. 1 upstream sensor and 1 downstream sensor located in the front manifold/exhaust and 1 upstream and 1 downstream sensor located in the rear manifold/exhaust.
Hey Jose==It is in the exhaust pipe. GoodluckJoe
the o2 sensor is located at the left side of the engine towards radiator and is the upper o2.
The Catalytic converter is located underneath the vehicle right behind the upstream oxygen sensor
Most oxygen sensors are heated oxygen sensors.
