There are 2 or 3 oxygen sensors in your exhaust. "Upstream" sensors are located between the exhaust manifolds (headers) and the catalytic converter (usually located on the mid-pipe); "downstream" sensors are located after the catalytic converters.
On V6 Mustangs there can either be one or two upstream sensors and usually only one downstream sensor.

Go underneath. It should be by the exhaust. You will need sockets or wrenches.
Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine in your Ford Mustang Sensor 1 is in the exhaust BEFORE the catalytic converter ( upstream ) Sensor 2 is in the exhaust AFTER the catalytic converter ( downstream )
Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine in your Ford Mustang Sensor 1 would be in the exhaust close to the engine before the exhaust enters the catalytic converter ( upstream )
Wher is the o2 sensor on a 2006 ford f150
The upstream O2 sensor is mounted in the ehxaust manifold The downstream O2 sensor is mounted in the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter
Yes
don't have the foggiest
To install an O2 sensor on the passenger side of a 1998 Ford F-250, first ensure the vehicle is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Locate the O2 sensor on the exhaust pipe, typically before the catalytic converter. Use a wrench or O2 sensor socket to unscrew the old sensor, then apply anti-seize compound to the threads of the new sensor and install it by hand. Finally, reconnect the wiring harness and the negative battery terminal.
it is the rear sensor bank 1 (the one after the converter)
It is right on top of the Catalytic Converter.
I had the same problem on my 98 Mazda 626 and the O2 sensor was faulty.....
