Distributer cap and rotors are common. Have seen reasonably new ones go bad on these. Also have seen leaking fuel rails under the plenum.
It is located under the plastic intake manifold plenum. It is an internal design because it draws it's vacuum from within the plenum. New answer: A 1995 is TBI (THROTTLE BODY INJECTION)tHE REGULATOR WILL BE FOUND ONTOP OF THE TBI. HOUSING JUST BEHIND THE 2 INJECTORS.only the vortec engines have it under the upper intake plenuem.
Vortec
Starter is located underneath plenum.
in exhaust pipe in front of muffler / catalytic converter, changed mine yesterday.
The plenum is the intake manifold.
They are inside the inlet manifold (Penum) to get access you need to unbolt the top half of the penum .The bottom half can stay bolted to the engine block . the plenum is the curved inlet manifold with the throttle body attached to it & the vortec name plate on top. Inside the plenum the fuel injection lines of the multipoint injection system run to the injectors at the end of each line.
