Which ever one has failed.
Yes

yes it will any of them from 95 model to a 99
You replace the torque converter.
To change motor mounts on your acura you need the following tools. A philips head screwdriver and 7 mm socket on wretched. Using your phillips head screwdriver undo the srews and put the new mounts on their places.
The motor mounts are broken or worn out or you have a broken wavy plate in the transmission.
The valves can be bent when the timing belt breaks.
If the neon was S.O.H.C, then you have to swap COMPUTER, AND HARNESS, AND ONE MOTOR MOUNT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE if the motor didn't come with it. AND VICE VERSA WITH DOHC TO SOHC, but don't know why you would do that!
Yes without a doubt its actually a pretty common swap the best way to do it is find a junkyard car with the motor you want so you can take all the mounts the computer and harness bascially everying under the hood. take a look on neons.org in the forum for more help.
For a 99 cavalier 2.2 there are 2 mounts. The upper mount near antifreeze recovery bottle and one (dog bone) mount directly under the other, in front of oil pan. 1- transmission mount.
don't think motor mounts will work - look for 92-99 3800
The motor itself is not replaceable. You have to replace the whole mirror assembly.
