possible valve cover gasket is leaking onto bolt.
put a bolt in the hole and it wont spray out anymore
There should be a stud (not a bolt) threaded in to the head and the stud should have a thread sealant applied to the threads.
remove the intake and exhaust manifolds. there are bolts that attach them onto the head and there are bolts near the carburetor that attach the intake manifold to the exhaust manifold.

The oxygen sensor on the 1987 Dodge D150 1/2-ton pickup with 2-wheel drive and a 3.7 liter 1Bl 6-cylinder engine is mounted in the exhaust manifold, next to the transmission bell housing. Check under the hood in the rear engine area on the driver's side.
The smog pump is designed to help clean the air the exits the exhaust. It might actually be detrimental to remove it if you have to pass emissions testing.
a slant 6 does in fact have a timing chain but it rarely ever wear out, break, or stretch, because of the durability of a slant 6.
Assuming this is a V8 motor, the freeze plugs will be located on either side of the block (3 each side) just below the exhaust manifold. On a slant 6 I'm not 100% sure if they are on both sides of the block or not.

yes I believe you could order the slant six in the GT in 69.
if no markings on the front fender it is either a 225 slant six, 318 or a 383 2 bbl., all other engines had a front fender emblem stating the engine size.
