Why does your 2007 Chrysler 300 start and then dies after a couple seconds?

I had this same problem with my 2007. It is your key. It will start up but then it will die. I had to pay 150 bucks for a new one because there was something burnt inside the key and it was not able to be fixed. Wish you the best.
