Aluminum
Aluminum can be used in a wide variety of applications, such as in the construction industry for making window frames and roofing, in transportation for building aircraft and cars, and in packaging for making cans and foil. It is also commonly used in electrical wiring due to its conductivity and in the production of various household items like cookware.

Aluminum is used in making aircraft parts and also is used to make lightweight automobile parts, foil, cans, and siding.
Aluminum is used to make planes. It is lightweight, yet sturdy, so the plane won't use a lot of gas but has enough protection. When aluminum comes in contact with air, a thin protective layer forms on the aluminum.
Kinda obvious :S Metals (usually aluminum or steel) are used in cars because they are strong and cheap. Expensive sports cars usually have stronger metals (like titanium) but that makes them more expensive. Different metals are used for different purposes, too. The main frame of a car would usually be steel instead of aluminum because it is stronger but delicate pieces would be made of aluminum because strength is not needed but it would be cheaper to make them in aluminum
