Need to check Fuel pump relay and fuel pump fuse.
Also need to check fuel pump pressure. Is there fuel in the tank, Gauge may be lieing to you.
vortec trucks have MPI Multipoint fuel injection. yes it's not getting enough electic to the wires to fuel pump
No. the plug wires are made different and the spark plugs ae NOT the correct heat range.
52 psi
no the vortec is computerize and that runs the fuel pump At a greater pressure than be atained by a mechanicle fuel pump.
60 to 66 psi
I have the 1999 Chevy Suburban 1500 with the Vortec 350 motor, (Gasoline) and it holds 42 gallons of gas.
If it's a 96 vortec 350 / 5.7L then it has 8. 1 per cylinder. If the engine looks like it has a carburetor on the top of it. Then it has 2 injectors and that fuel system is called TBI / Throttle Body Injection.
Inside the tank.
12 volts
It is in the throttle body.
About $14.00 for a good 1.
WEll it all depends on the fuel system on the truck and motor if hey are the same u should be good... but one may be a tbi system and that's where u might need to do a little tweaking on your set ups.
