Push all the door locks down manually and then lock the drivers door with your key if it will not stay locked when you push the lock down and shut the door.
I don't know why it does this but to stop it all you do is hold the lock button for 10seconds

u can shut off a car while its in gear u just wont be able to get the key out without it being in park and the sterring wheel may lock but u can shut a car off with it in gear
