In normal everyday driving it will add no extra horsepower. In a racing situation at high rpms it will add some but not much. How much depends on the engine that it is installed on.
well you can change the air filter to a higher quality like a KN filter with a cold air intake. anything else would make the engine no longer stock
If a 9-horsepower Kawasaki engine is backfiring under load, you might need to clean or replace the air filter. The timing coil could be damaged as well.
Add a free flow exhaust and a cold air intake free flow air filter. This will give you slightly more h.p. To get some real horsepower you can install a turbo charger or supercharger but they are expensive.
increases horsepower and gas mileage.

There is no "engine filter", but there is a fuel filter, oil filter, and air filter. Read your owners manual.
What year and which air filter. Engine filter or cabin filter. 2001, cabin and Engine
Not sure what filter. The air filter is in the large black housing on top of the engine. The oil filter is under the screw cap on the front driver side of the engine. The fuel filter is in the dead canter of the engine below the air filter housing. The trans filter is inside the trans pan.Not sure what filter. Several things can add horsepower to your truck. A free flow air filter, different exhaust, or computer chip change can all help get more horsepower.
No , the engine air filter and the engine oil filter are two different items
