The flashing means that you have an airbag code. This means that there is a problem with your airbag, and your vehicles computer is trying to tell you to take it to the dealership to be fixed. Go see your nearest dealership soon. Do not worry, the airbag won't just go off randomly if their is a problem, the light is probably indicating that the airbag will not work if you get in an accident. A dealership will be able to interpret this code and tell you what is wrong.
The 1997 Dakota was the last year that you could pull codes by switching the ignition key on and off. Here's How: Within 5 seconds, turn the ignition key ON - OFF - ON - OFF - ON The trouble light will come on for two seconds then flash a number of times then pauses then flashes a number of times then pauses. when it flashes 55 it mean there are no more codes stored in memory. Multiple codes are separated by a 4 second pause.
Your air bag light is flashing a code at you that means something is wrong with your air bag system

It is just an aid to help trouble shoot the problem. Older TVs didn't tell you what might be wrong.
The lifetime of the large capacitors is very often shortened by the ambient heat. They last for just 8 to 10 years. Some of them are not showing any changes at the outside and therefore can not be recognized as bad. So if you are not finding other failed pieces on the powerboard beginn to change all capacitors. From my experience the larger one nearest to heatsources (as alloycooler) are failing first. In my case it was none of the capacitors but one of the two relays. If it's the relay the TV does not start, you hear the clicking relays more than twice (normally just two clicks - because of the two relays connecting) and the power LED changes from constant green to red flashes. Flashes red 6times, pauses, flashes again 6times red, pauses and so on... and so on

Pauses in speech are important for conveying emphasis, allowing for comprehension, and providing rhythm in communication. They can indicate a change in topic or shift in tone. Overusing or underusing pauses can affect the clarity and flow of the message.
