No you cannot. Old motor oil contains harmful additives that can be released back into the atmosphere and can make you sick. Don't do it.
In general, yes. But they've put big taxes on diesel. I have also converted an #2 oil furnace to reliably burn the motor oil from our van fleet
Burning one liter of furnace oil produces approximately 2.6 kg of CO2 emissions.
To add the sae 10 non detergent oil to your furnace blower motor you will have to open the motor section.
Kerosene and home heating oil can be mixed in a oil furnace. Kerosene is thinner than heating oil. Mixed together will make the furnace burn cleaner.
could be oil burn off from the leak Or during repair, the relative dripped oil on the motor, and the excess is burning off when the motor gets hot!
92%
Yes, it will burn.
If the motor has oil ports you can put in a few drops of oil. If the motor has sealed bearings you will need to replace it.To fix a squeaky furnace, you need to add oil to the motor bearings. In some cases it could also be due to the fan, which would then need to be replaced.
by mixing the burn motor oil with grove heater the diesel will burn slower
It is leaking oil or burning it.
How can you covert an oil furnace to an electric furnace
It is possible that a small enough amount of oil is being burned to not cause noticeable smoke. Also, some oils may burn cleaner, and thus smoke less, than other oils. Finally, you may be leaking oil rather than burning it. Most engines after an undetermined period of time, tend to burn oil, because the tolerances of the metal moving parts become "sloppy" and the oil lubricating the pistons slips by. in the case of the Mazda rotary motor though, they have oil injectors, because of how the rotors are designed there is no way to lubricate them with out injecting oil in to the combustion chambers. so they burn oil much faster than the traditional gasoline or diesel motor
