Anything is possible but it is unlikely - the error code P1166 is for the primary oxygen sensor.
A blocked fuel filter could cause the engine to lose power on a 92 Honda Civic DX. Fuel injectors that need changing or cleaning could also be the cause.

A Google search will give you many sites with detailed instructions on changing transmssion fluid. Warning: Use only genuine Honda ATF Z1 fluid in this car. The use of any generic or so-called all purpose fluid will cause hard shifts and may damage this transmission. Go to a Honda dealer and purchase the correct fluid. On most Honda's you will also more than likely not be able to change the filter, as it is internal, and a lifetime filter.
A dirty air filter will cause your car to loose horse power. You may loose acceleration and torque.
