Window cleaner is a good alternative to the high priced stuff the makers sell. Just spray it in the air & let it fall on the surface & then swiffer or rub it off with a soft slightly damp towell. DO NOT pour anything wet of your laminate and DO NOT use a steamer.
no, never. Steam cleaners and steam mops leave to much water on a laminate floor.
A high-quality laminate floor shine cleaner that is specifically designed for maintaining glossy finishes is recommended for keeping your floors looking their best. Look for products that are labeled as safe for laminate floors and provide a shiny finish without leaving residue or streaks.
You shouldn't use wet products on laminate floors. A dry mop such as a swiffer duster will do the trick. There are products on the market that are excellent for cleaning laminated floors. They contain a cleaner that leaves the floors clean and like new.
To effectively clean and maintain the shine of laminate floors, use a damp mop with a mild cleaner specifically designed for laminate floors. Avoid using excessive water or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the laminate. Regularly sweep or vacuum to remove dirt and debris, and use felt pads on furniture legs to prevent scratches.
Laminate floors have glue holding them together. The steam may cause it to loosen. Use a mop and water on the floor instead.
Yes vapour steam cleaners do a fantastic job on laminate floors and many other flooring types. They will lift dirt easily and quickly with little effort. The floor will look nearly good as new after cleaning with a vapour steam cleaner.
To reduce shine on laminate floors, you can try using a mixture of vinegar and water for cleaning, as vinegar can help remove residue that causes shine. Additionally, you can use a specially formulated laminate floor cleaner that is designed to reduce shine. Avoid using oil-based or wax-based products, as these can create a shiny residue on laminate floors.
Mist it in the air and let it fall as a mist onto the Laminate, then use a swiffer style pad on it and you will have pretty good results. DO NOT POUR it on! MIST from a sprayer and let it fall
Depending on how deep the stains on your hardwood floors. If you have a stain that is recent, you may be able to clean the floor with hardwood strip cleaner, if not then you may have to restrip the floor.
no :L
yes I would NOT use that on a laminate floor. You can buy special cleaners for laminate floors, or make your own. Also, Swiffer Wet Jet has cleaner that is safe for laminate floors, but you have to buy the mop that goes with it that takes batteries. Try to find a cheaper applicator, such as a terry cloth covered mop that you can find in a Dollar General Store, and I use distilled water, white vinegar, and alcohol in distilled water. 2/3 water and equal parts of vinegar and alcohol. Do not get the floor too wet. My best advice is to use a special cleaner. I think Wal-mart has a gallon of it for a reasonable price, close to the hardware department. Good Luck. The basic cleaning fact with laminate is...not a lot of liquid and something that doesn't leave a film. What's in the expensive laminate cleaner bottles? Window cleaner! Windex or store brand, it's water, ammonia and alcohol....Spray and go over with a slightly (very slightly) damp sponge mop.
Some effective homemade alternatives for a laminate floor cleaner that do not contain vinegar include a mixture of water and rubbing alcohol, water and dish soap, or water and lemon juice. These solutions can help clean and maintain laminate floors without the use of vinegar.
