Cheaper to turn it off.
outboard motor will start and idle, but dies out under load
Perhaps a vacuum leak, or clogged throttle body. Perhaps just a worn out engine. When you replaced your idle air control valve, did you remove the battery for at least 10 minutes? It will reset the computer, then start the car up with all the accessories on, let it idle for about 5 minutes. It should relearn how to idle. Perhaps that will help.
On HorseIsle, when you are idle it means you have not moves your character for ten minutes. You may be talking to someone or playing a game, but you have to move your character to become active again. If you are idle for 25 minutes you are logged out.
Idle Air Control Motor malfunctioning.
buy a new one
Idle means to have stopped for the moment - bit like pause - it could start again any moment where as stop is where something has stopped for good. Won't start again. I hope this helps
The carburetor needs rebuilding.
Check the idle air control valve. When the valve malfunctions the car will not be able to hold a stable idle. Make sure the wiring is not charred or frayed.
that would be good for the cold idle and should drop three times as the car warms up and should idle about 650 to 800 auto trans
i just read that the idle air control valve can stick. possibly its that.
Check the throttle position sensor or the idle control motor
i can start the car, and it runs for a few meters, dies out like im giving it no gas. then it will not restart. after sitting about 10 minutes or so, it will start again and is drivable for a few more meters, then dies again to have the whole process rinse and repeat itself . it also makes a loud rattling noise like the valves are rattleing and then loses all horsepower then dies. once its started back up it sounds like the lifters are tapping, and just gets louder until the car dies again. it will not idle on its own.
