Some people do, and some don't. Generally, it would be a good idea.
Yes you should!
Yes, it is customary to tip the Amtrak sleeping car attendant for their services.
Tipping for car detailing is not mandatory, but it's a great way to show appreciation for quality service. On average, most customers tip between 10% to 20% of the total service cost. For example: For a basic detail costing $100, a $10–$20 tip is appropriate. For premium or full-service detailing over $200, consider tipping $20–$50, depending on the level of effort and results. If your car was especially dirty or the team went above and beyond—such as removing tough stains, pet hair, or restoring the shine—then a more generous tip is well-deserved. At Astonishing Detail in Richmond, VA, we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier service that exceeds expectations. While tipping is optional, our clients often choose to tip because they recognize the exceptional effort and care we put into every vehicle. Let our results speak for themselves—schedule your detail today and experience the Astonishing difference!
It can be very expensive to detail your car depending on what you are looking to have detailed on the car. I had my car detailed by a reputable car up north and they did an excellent job. It was only for $100.00.
If you are unsure about any aspect of your TIP mission then you should let your TIP supervisor know. Your supervisor will be happy to explain anything to you in more detail to help you understand.
