As of my last update in October 2023, Circle K primarily uses gas supplied by various companies, including Citgo in some locations. However, the availability of Citgo gas at Circle K stations can vary by region and specific store agreements. It's best to check with local Circle K locations for the most accurate and current information regarding their fuel suppliers.
On four trips to CA 1993-2007 I found a single CITGO station in Norwalk, at the intersection of Imperial Hwy and Shoemaker. I was able to use my CITGO card there. Updated as of January 2008: Last year, I was able to use my Citgo card at a few different stations in Southern California - one in Glenale and one in the Van Nuys/Pacoima area. However, in the last 6 months, at LEAST the following locations (a couple of them combined with 7-11 convenient stores), no longer accept citgo gas cards. I still haven't been in the area of Van Nuys/Pacoima stores and needed gas, so I can't confirm whether or not they still take Citgo cards, but a search of the Citgo website location finder offered me 0 results for locations in the entire state of California. I can't confirm whether or not the above mentione Norwalk location still accepts Citgo cards.
Citgo and Valero use Venezuela oil. Sonoco does not.
