Look for a vacuum leak at the engine.
The idle speed is computer controlled
a vacuum leak can cause high idle
you pooped in your pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It should idle down, add more detail and ask again,. I may know the reason.
Common problem.. The "Idle Air Control" valve (IAC) is the usual culprit. It is located on the throttle body.
on the left (passenger side) of the injector pump is your throttle. to the front and below the steel piece that turns is a screw with a spring on it. turn it in for up and out for down
idle air control valve
get an engine block heater..i have a 1968 ford f-250 and its really bad but once i started using the heater everything was all better It also depends on the climate. Another cause could be your idle adjustment.
-50°C is equal to -58°F in Fahrenheit.
250 deg C = 482 deg F.250 deg C = 482 deg F.250 deg C = 482 deg F.250 deg C = 482 deg F.
ford has a msd type of ignition on their car but instead of firing twice all time it only fires twice at idle just because you have good spark at idle it does not it is firing correct.
You can adjust the idle.
